A friend in Zichron Yaakov, a former neighbor from Seattle, went up to the northern border and made shnitzel for the soldiers stuck up there. Her comment:
I made shnitzel for soldiers up north today. Think they enjoyed it as much as Manuel [Zimberoff] used to ❤️

United Nations: Son of Hamas Cofounder
This talk at the United Nations is 41 minutes long. He has spoken out a few times.
About Women
This four minute clip is part of a growing body of material, by women in the U.S. and Israel, asking why women’s groups are not speaking up.
Heard
I heard the rains in Gaza flooded some of the Hamas tunnels, but I have not looked for corroboration. Also that there is a proposal to flood some tunnels with seawater. I did see that the tunnels under Al Shifa are being progressively opened and explored, but it is slow going due to the danger.
Thought
The word "racism" seems to imply thinking less of darker skin. (Or, as my Uncle Victor used to say, Africans have a "skin disease." He meant that they suffered on account of their skin color.)
Why is "antisemitism" such a unique word? Are there parallel concepts in Africa or Asia (for racial groups in those regions) that I haven't heard of? We don't have word for "anti-naziism" or "anti-aryanism" or "anti-frankism." I asked chatGPT. It came up with terms like "homophobia" "sexism" "islamophobia" and a few others. But nothing in the other direction. Where is the term for "christianophobia" or "anti-greekism"?
I thought of this upon an encounter with this today in SOHO:

It is pushing six PM. Traffic seven floors below me has been honking for the past hour. I am going to a concert with my NYU daughter.
Stay well and out of traffic.
